This actually makes a lot of sense. Greenland is part of the American continent.
At the beginning of World War II, we made Greenland a protectorate of the US
when the Nazis took over Denmark. For some strange reason we gave it back to
Denmark once we liberated Europe. Now China and Russia are trying to dominate
the arctic passageways for commercial and military purposes. We cannot stand by
and allow China (who has no arctic territory) to dominate the arctic. Denmark
cannot protect Greenland and they have no real invested rights to Greenland. The
people of Greenland and their Prime Minister want to be part of the US for
economic reasons as well as for protection. This should hyave happened a long
time ago, but now is of critical strategic importance. The Prime Minister has
declared their independence from Denmark and is in the process of writing a new
constitution. This is an imperative strategic act and is going to happen is some
way, shape or form.
